The
Tumbling Clown teapot was designed in 1970 by Roger Michell and manufactured
under the backstamp Carlton Ware Lustre Pottery as part of Carlton Ware's
Circus range.
In 1999 a small number were handmade in the studio before the mould was
finally destroyed, 6 of these were decorated by Danka Napiorkowska and painted
with the edition number and artists initials RSM + DN.
